This course was designed with a virtual deck included for those who do not have their physical decks. The course works just as well with a virtual deck. We have also included the Introduction of the Wisdom of the Oracle guidebook download in the Welcome Video section of the course.

The Oracle Cards 101 Course is broken into bite-sized, 5-minute lessons, each day for 30 days. Upon payment, you will get instant access to the Oracle Cards 101 learning platform, and each day a new lesson will be unlocked. You will be notified about these lessons along with bonus meditations and bonus spreads when they become available via email!

Wisdom of the Oracle (WOTO) is the anchor deck for this course. It is Colette’s most comprehensive deck and the one she teaches with. The deck contains 52 cards each with 4 messages, that’s over 200 possible messages! For this class, she recommends you use WOTO.

Every module of this course has a step to review your answers and get feedback. You can also interpret cards in the Facebook group to get real-time PROOF that you’re reading accurately. That is what we call “The Proof Loop System!”

On the days that Colette teaches a specific shuffle, use that one. Otherwise, you are free to experiment and find the shuffle that works best for you.

Everyone has their preferred method of choosing a card. There is no hard rule. We recommend you decide how you are going to choose and then trust that whichever one you pick contains the message you need.

Upside down cards in some decks are the "Protection" message in the Wisdom of The Oracle deck, The "Alignment" message in the Goddess Power deck, and The "Medicine" in the Mystical Shaman deck.They have a different meaning than if the card was right side up. In the App or the guidebook it will show you these separate messages for each card. Consider these messages a gentle nudge from spirit.

With Oracle Cards, yes, you can ask about almost anything. In fact, the more you practice the better you will get at formulating questions to ask. Remember: you never do a reading for someone without their permission. So, if you’re wondering about your son’s relationship with that girl or what’s going on in your sister’s marriage, you’ll just have to keep wondering. It’s unethical to do a reading on someone without their permission. 

As stated above, you can ask almost anything. Colette’s cards are not intended to answer questions about health. You will not get clear guidance because of that, so it is not recommended.

If you choose a card in protection (upside down), then you only read the protection message. If it is a relationship question, start with the relationship message. If it’s a prosperity question (money or career), read the prosperity message. For a general question, start with the Oracle message. Sometimes, you may need a little more and it’s okay to read the other messages. Just remember for protection, you only read that. **The essential message is the theme of the card.

Sometimes when you are shuffling a card pops out of the deck, we call these jumpers. Jumpers are always read upright, regardless of how they landed. Typically, jumpers are additional information, not the main card. If you are new to cards, we recommend that you just put the jumper back into the deck and continue to shuffle. In other words, just focus on the cards you choose from the deck.

Yes, you can use what you learn in this course to read for others if you feel comfortable to do so. But please remember: never do a reading for someone without their permission. So, if you’re wondering about your son’s relationship with that girl or what’s going on in your sister’s marriage, you’ll just have to keep wondering. Journaling is so important for this course. It is how you will keep track of your readings, reflect on your Proof Loop, and gain a better understanding of the cards quicker than if you didn’t journal.

Meditation is a really important tool that allows you to get into a grounded and neutral state before you approach the cards. Your readings will be more accurate if you come from that unattached and neutral place.

Meditations: Unless specifically directed, use whichever one you like.

Prayers: Colette recommends you pray before you begin a reading to make it a sacred experience. Use whatever words feel right for you. She loves to use the Serenity Prayer.

This course is not a certification course, but a course for you to build on your education, intuition, and confidence while reading Oracle Cards.
